This is an absolutely gorgeous get-away. Our hosts, Lily and Chris saw to it that we would have a superb vacation. The house was impeccable – spotlessly clean, fully furnished and equipped with everything vacationers could want. In addition, its location at the waterfront in Trinity adds a very special note of peace and calm. [Bob & Claire, Mississauga – stayed Aug 2021]

What a wonderful space! The house was very well laid out and impeccably outfitted with everything you might need for your stay. We did a lot of cooking in the spotless kitchen and had all the tools we needed for both indoor cooking and grilling on the propane grill on the deck. Chris and Lily were great hosts and were very responsive (not that we had any problems at all!). I highly recommend this place 😀[ Kristine, Boulder,CO – stayed Aug 2021]

Awesome location in the heart of the community! Beds were super comfortable and lots of space for clothes and toiletries. A shower in each bathroom was very convenient for our group. Very spacious for a traditional Newfoundland house. Deck was used both days/nights with great seating! If you get the opportunity for Lilly to make you dinner, don’t hesitate in saying YES! It was absolutely delicious and no one left the table hungry! We will be back again…sooner than later I hope! Highly recommend this property![Kelly, St. John’s – stayed Aug 2021]

Christian’s Croft is a beautiful century old home in the heart of Trinity. Lily is a great host. She is engaging and very prompt with her replies. The house is very clean and the property is lovely. How many hosts would pick strawberries for you from their garden not once, but twice? She was a little upset that Chris was out of town and we didn’t have the opportunity to meet him. Property is very well stocked with everything you will need plus has two full bathrooms. A plus for two couples. Will definitely visit again especially if the strawberries are in season. Great accommodation in an absolutely beautiful location. Chris & Lily have great communication and response time. Our experience was amazing. The house is lovely and extremely clean. A charming century home in the heart of Trinity village: We truly enjoyed our stay in your home. It was clean and tidy and inviting at the same time. You were both kind and responsive to our questions and super friendly on arrival. We could not have asked for more. You both made our stay in Trinity even more special. The house is in a great location in the heart of beautiful Trinity. Everything you could possibly need has been provided. Chris & Lily were great hosts and could not do enough for you. [Barb, Quispamsis – stayed July 2021]

Beautiful heritage home with modern conveniences. Well equipped. Location in the village could not be better. Everything within walking distance, [ Deb, St. John’s – stayed July 2021]

This is a lovely historic property situated in the centre of Trinity close to all attractions and Rising Tide Theatre. It’s beautifully appointed and decorated and absolutely spotless in every respect…neat and tidy. Two full bathrooms are a plus also. The outside grounds are lovely and surrounded by green space and flowers with a nice back deck with Adirondack lounge chairs and a bbq. This is a very old home which has been re-modelled but still has kept the historic quality. During our stay it was unseasonably warm in Trinity..(over 25c), and we found the house to be a tad warm, but I am sure that 95% of the time this would not be an issue. You won’t be disappointed with your choice to stay at Chris and Lily’s home. [David; stayed August 2020]

Christian’s Croft is a beautiful heritage home perfectly located in the centre of town…walking distance to all the local attractions. The house is super clean and the beds were so can tell the owners take great pride in their property. We loved it all from the little chocolates left for us to the extra toiletries. Chris and Lily were so friendly and helpful…the perfect host. We would highly recommend this place…you will not be disappointed. We hope to return. [Nancy; stayed August 2020]

Chris and Lily were excellent hosts and very sociable. If they offer to make you an Asian meal I would take them up on that, as it was amazing. The location was perfect. [David; stayed July 2020]

Awesome Location With an Awesome Home : We were met by the hosts who provided us with the most wonderful service. Combined with the lovely location, this may be the best VRBO home we have rented in our many years renting around the world! [Lana C.; stayed September 2019]

Excellent : Christian’s Croft is a beautiful property in an amazing town with two wonderful people as hosts. Lily & Chris were some of the most welcoming people I have ever met. The house was super clean, nicely decorated, and really comfortable. I loved the toiletries that Lily supplied in the bathrooms too. Great place, would not hesitate to stay here again and would 100% recommended it. Trip type: Vacation / Rooms: 5.0 / Service: 5.0 / Location: 5.0 [Lori Lof; stayed July 2019]

Excellent! : A great experience in a beautiful part of the world, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Christian’s Croft. Chris and Lily are great hosts and provided us with information and recommendations that helped make our stay in Trinity even better. The accommodations are remarkable with everything needed for a comfortable vacation. Trinity is a wonderful place and Christian’s Croft is a great place to stay. Highly recommended and the place that I would stay if I should ever return to Trinity. Many thanks! [David B.; stayed July 2019]

First Trip to Newfoundland : The house is very quaint and located right in the middle of town. Tourists frequently walk around the various buildings in the town, of which this one is in the midst of. We had to explain we were tourists as well; just renting. Not a problem; we could have had some fun with this pretending we were part of the tour. The house had everything we needed. Having two showers was great since we were 2 couples. Kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed many euchre games at the table. The owners live next door. Having them greet us as we arrived, was welcoming. They were very nice. The location of the house is close to everything in town; all within walking distance. We enjoyed 3 restaurant meals, a stage play, and several shops, as well as the many historical buildings.  [Gary O.; stayed July 2019]

Home Away From Home : Christian’s Croft is across the lane from a church built in 1833, in the lovely town of Trinity. The house is fully renovated and so comfortable – truly home away from home. Lily and Chris are a lovely couple, so friendly and hospitable, we left feeling we had made new friends! Lily’s homemade blueberry jam was a very nice touch. We plan to return! Thanks Lily and Chris. Perfect Location in Trinity : The small town of Trinity has a lot of history to share, and Chris and Lily are doing their part with the complete restoration of Christian’s Croft. Fantastic hosts, they greeted us upon arrival, and gave us great tips on things to see and do in the area. The home is beautifully restored, a mix of modern comforts with traditional styling. Everything we needed and more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a base to explore Trinity, Bonavista, Elliston, Skerwink Trail, etc. A must-do is the historical walking tour in Trinity with host Kevin Toope, another recommendation from Lily and Chris.
